Local Amenities
Dine with Us
Eat freshly prepared food from Broadway’s many restaurants and local farmers’ markets. Award-winning chef James Martin has taken over at The Lygon Arms hotel in the village.
Drink with Us
Sample local beers and wines, as well as inventive cocktails at Broadway’s country pubs. Highlights include the Crown & Trumpet a few minutes’ walk from the cottage.
Ride with Us
Enjoy horse riding in the Cotswolds. We’d be happy to point you towards some of our favourite local riding centres, bridleways and horse show trials which are held regularly nearby.
Focus on Yourself
Broadway has a network of excellent massage therapists and other bodywork professionals (yoga, pilates) and beauticians which you can enjoy during your stay. You can also play a round of golf or lawn bowls (contact us for further information).
Read Widely
Our small book collection boasts books on a variety of subjects. Check out as many as you’d like, as often as you’d like. Same with our selection of CDs, all playable on a Bluetooth-enabled mini music centre.
Travel by Steam Train
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is a heritage railway offering a round trip of 28 miles from Broadway to Cheltenham and back on restored trains pulled by steam and electric locomotives.
Bring a Furry Friend
We would be happy to consider one pet but please inquire before booking the cottage. Take your dog on one of our guided walks for plenty of scenery and exercise (see the Experiences section of this website).
The Tower
Broadway’s famous tower offers stunning views of the village and the Cotswold countryside from the top of the escarpment. There are two cafes, a museum and a deer park.
